Рассказывая о творчестве Стинга, нельзя не отметить его работы в кинематографе. На сегодняшний день он снялся более чем в десяти картинах и записал саундтреки к сорока с лишним фильмам, среди которых "48 часов" (48 Hrs), "Разрушитель" (Demolition Man), "Леон" (The Professional), "Покидая Лас-Вегас" (Leaving Las Vegas), "Четыре свадьбы и одни похороны" (Four Weddings and a Funeral), "Афера Томаса Крауна" (The Thomas Crown Affair), "Новый ход императора" (The Emperor's New Groove) и многие другие.
